We keep the security story short and honest. Here is how your details are handled when you top up bus card value with busabutop.

Is it safe to enter card data?

Payment details are submitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are processed by the payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems. The hafilat card number itself is used only to direct the top-up to the right card.

Card verification

Card entry uses standard checks — number format, expiry in the future, and the security code — so obvious typing mistakes are caught before anything is submitted. Modern card authentication (such as an issuing bank's step-up prompt) may apply, depending on your bank.

What we ask you to do

• Only enter details on pages served over https://busabutop.org.
• Keep the card number private — treat it like any other payment detail.
• If a charge appears without a matching balance update, contact support promptly.
